E-commerce or online shopping or Electronic commerce means selling and buying product over the internet and paid money using online credit card. Now a day's electronic commerce uses the World Wide Web for at least one part of the transaction's life cycle, although it may also use other technologies like e-mail. E-commerce refers to any type of business, or commercial transaction that involves the transfer of information over the Internet.

Categories of e-commerce: 
There are four type of e-commerce B2B (Business to Business), B2C (Business to Consumer), C2B (Consumer to Business), C2C (Consumer to Consumer).
Website is a set of related collection of World Wide Web (www) files that served from a single web domain. Every website has unique web address. The pages of a website can usually be accessed from a simple Uniform Resource Locator (URL) called the web address.
Websites have many functions and can be used in various types of website; a website can be a personal website, a commercial website, a government website or a non-profit organization website. Websites can be the work of an individual, a business or other organization, and are typically dedicated to a particular topic or purpose.

Websites can be divided into two broad categories: 1. Interactive sites: It‘s part of the Web 2.0 community of sites, and allow for interactivity between the site owner and site visitors.
2. Static sites serve or capture information but do not allow engagement with the audience directly.
Some web sites are informational or produced by enthusiasts or for personal use or entertainment. Many web sites do aim to make money, using one or more business models, including: Posting interesting content and selling contextual advertising either through direct sales or through an advertising network.

Advertising products or services available at a brick and mortar business
Premium - basic content is available for free but premium content is paid
